The figure is articulated so that it flexes and rises up the stick when the lower block is pushed upwards. It was obtained at an estate sale of 1920s-30s folk art. Condition: Excellent. |

Quantity: 1 Dimensions: Width 4 3/8", front-to-back 3 3/8", height 2" Description: An almost semicircular birch bark box bound with sweet grass and ornamented with white, green and red porcupine quills. This was obtained from an estate sale of 1920'-30s Indian artifacts and folk art. Condition: Very good, but not perfect. The back of the box shows loss of a few quills; around the top of the box and the hinge area the original stitching has been reinforced with newer black thread. Given the age and materials I would certainly give it very good! |
