Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel (1839-1929)
Lesrel was born 19th May 1839 in Genets. He was a painter of well-researched historically accurate scenes. His romantic historical depictions sold well in France, England and the United States. His paintings are found in museums in: Nantes; Rouen; Sydney and New York.
